The Preschool Playhouse® Teaching Success Kit contains a host of interesting, fresh, and attention-getting activities to help your students learn more about the Word of God. As a teacher, you'll find this kit very helpful and informative in teaching this quarter's lessons. It includes everything you need to make your Sunday School class come alive!
In the Kit:
Student folders—The folders include a worksheet to be used in class to reinforce the week's Bible lesson as well as two stories-a Bible story and a contemporary story to illustrate and apply the Bible lesson. Thirteen four-page lesson folders are included.
Teacher Guide—This guide will help prepare the teacher with in depth Bible background information including an outline for lesson objectives of knowledge, attitude, and action as well as directions for engaging the class in Bible learning. It provides flexibility for a teacher leading 2-3 year olds or 4-5 year old separately; but also gives direction for teaching all four age levels at one time.
Visuals and Activities Packet—This packet gives the teacher directions for using visuals for a bulletin board or wall decor for the theme focus for in the quarter, plus a lesson plan sheet and suggested patterns for lessons. It gives direction on how to use visuals for additional learning as well as accompanying music sheets for worship time.
Black History Personalities Poster and Profile Sheet—Every quarter students are exposed to extraordinary African-Americans who achieved success. A profile is included in the Visuals and Activities Booklet with engaging activities for each person.
Craft Kingdom—Booklet—Creative handbook activities involve children in active learning by using a variety of skills including cutting, pasting, coloring, and following directions.
Scripture Scenes—Visual Aid Posters—These large, colorful pictures feature Bible art, the key verse, and a summarization for each lesson. These posters illustrate the International Uniform Lesson Series Scripture Scenes--and help students visualize the Bible story and assist the teachers in teaching the key verses.
