Cheryl Price Clemetson, Ph.D.
Vice President of Editorial
Cheryl Price Clemetson joined UMI in 2005 as Director of Editorial, and was promoted to Vice President of Editorial in December 2006. She is responsible for the writing and editing of various UMI publications.
Cheryl attended the American University of Washington, D.C. and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education, with a concentration in Special Education. She received a Master of Divinity from Colgate Rochester Divinity School in Rochester, New York, and a Doctorate of Philosophy, Theology, Personality, and a concentration in Religious Education.
Prior to joining UMI, she was an instructor at Howard University School of Divinity and she served as the Assistant to the Pastor and Minister of Christian Education at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Seattle, Washington.
Cheryl is the co-author of Family Ties: Restoring Unity in the African American Family. She also appeared on the weekly television talk show This is America with David Wholey. |
