UMI Named One of the
Best Christian Places to Work
(Calumet City, IL) — UMI (Urban Ministries, Inc.) was recently named one of the Best Christian Places to Work by the Best Christian Workplaces Institute (BCWI). The finalists for 2008 were announced at the Christian Management Association (CMA) Dallas Conference on April 24.
UMI, one of the leading African American Christian media companies in the world, was named among the top three Best Christian Places to Work in the Publishing category. The survey involved more than 7,834 employees in 67 organizations across the United States to identify great workplaces with a Christian mission and/or values.
